Many people take use of bookmark for website they want to visit again. So, it is possible to make it icon to open website. 

First of all, open safari. Safari provide the function to make icon. 
After that, click the share button.


After that, you can find many menu items. 
You click "Add to Home screen" button.


 Enter icon name and site. And then, you can find icon on home screen.



 It is very convenient. If you enter search result as like keywords, you can search without enter keywords. 
Also, it is way to save iPhone memory. 
So, I recommend you to use this function without installing App.
